Who we are

Independent preconstruction advisory focused on concrete risk and scope clarity.

Oasis Consulting Group works with general contractors and developers to evaluate concrete subcontractor bids and reduce risk before contracts are awarded.

The firm’s foundation is built on extensive experience in concrete estimating and preconstruction, including years of reviewing subcontractor bids, scopes, and pricing across commercial projects. That experience revealed a consistent pattern: many concrete cost and schedule issues originate not in the field, but during bid evaluation—when scope gaps, exclusions, and assumptions are missed under deadline pressure.

Oasis Consulting Group exists to address that gap.

Rather than producing estimates or takeoffs, the firm provides independent analysis and judgment during preconstruction, specifically focused on concrete subcontractor selection, scope completeness, and pricing risk.

Why this work exists

Concrete is often one of the largest and highest-risk scopes on a project. Small omissions or unclear assumptions at bid time can lead to significant cost overruns, schedule impacts, and disputes later.

During bid evaluation, project teams are typically under time pressure. Estimators are focused on pricing accuracy. Project teams are focused on schedules and logistics. Important details can be overlooked.

Oasis Consulting Group provides an independent review designed to slow the decision down just enough to make the right call before contracts are signed.

Our Approach

Each engagement is practical, focused, and project-specific.

Oasis Consulting Group emphasizes:

  • Normalizing subcontractor bids so they can be compared accurately

  • Identifying missing scope, exclusions, and ambiguous language

  • Highlighting assumptions that commonly lead to change orders

  • Providing clear, written recommendations prior to award

The objective is not to select the lowest bid, but to reduce downstream risk and uncertainty.
